After two harsh year in Creane Memorial High School and one unforgettable year in Kota,it was just a different experience in IT-BHU.Admissions were on 22nd of July ,I arrived Varanasi with my elder brother P.R.Suman on 21st.Room No.-3 of Rajputana Hostel was alloted to me.I was keen to meet my roomie with whom I was to share a room.Room was too big to adjust two beds.He didn't arrive on that day.
On 22nd I did all the formalities of giving drafts,filling a bundle of forms and finally after a tussle of one hour I was officially admitted in IT-BHU.There I meet my rommie Abhinav Kumar Kushwaha.He is a localite so called Banarasi Babu.
On very that day all the newly admitted students were welcomed in Swatantrata Bhawan in a ceremoney organised by the Vice-Chancellor.Sorry,I again don't remember his name! Here we were informed about the holy city Varanasi and the history and features of BHU.Parents present there shouted for making IT-BHU as an IIT but other professors confirmed the processes were going on.Well after all those boring speeches,we had some snacks.Thank God,it was from administration.After a delicious dinner of mess we slept.
I got up early to be on time for classes at least on the very first day.We were afraid of being ragged by the seniors.So all the computer science students held in a group and went to the class.It was fortunate that special police van escorted us to the class to prevent ragging.
